Senior UX Writer, Apple Music

The Writing arm of our Product, Design & Marketing team works across services and products, including ones that are currently available and ones that are just barely being imagined. As the UX Writer dedicated to [REDACTED] TV, your responsibilities will include:

• Writing end-to-end flows and other in-product copy across platforms
• Designing features alongside cross-functional partners
• Collaborating to define and execute the product roadmap
• Developing style and tonal guidance for features and LLM generated content
• Leading discussions on naming, terminology, and messaging
• Presenting work to senior leaders and incorporating feedback

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6+ years professional UX writing experience
• Experience leveraging UX writing systems and familiarity with industry standards
• Writing in-product copy across platforms, including mobile, desktop, and web
• Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, including information architecture
• Ability to advocate for users through thoughtful, intuitive language while also meeting business needs
• Enthusiasm for an interactive writing process, including writing from scratch, editing existing copy, and upholding language systems.
• Strong prioritization skills with an ability to manage several projects simultaneously and dynamically reprioritize as needed
• Strong ability to present and defend writing choices in large forums, including executive reviews
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate feedback from multiple senior leaders
• Fluency with design tools like Sketch and working with functional specs and wireframes
