📋 Description

• Use research, testing and validation techniques to shape concepts and improve designs from the earliest stages
• Work alongside researchers and wider product teams to turn customer feedback, research findings and behavioural insight into clear design opportunities
• Test assumptions and hypotheses throughout the design process using evidence-based decision-making
• Combine qualitative research with product data and customer behaviour to understand pain points and identify areas for improvement
• Own end-to-end digital experiences across complete customer journeys
• Translate complex requirements into user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, interaction models and user flows
• Develop concepts and sketches into intuitive digital experiences
• Design across different products, services and digital channels
• Collaborate with Product, Research and Engineering teams to balance user needs, commercial priorities and technical feasibility
• Use research insights, behavioural trends and product performance data to guide design decisions and prioritisation
• Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to identify opportunities, influence product direction and establish measures of success
• Ensure experiences meet accessibility, usability and inclusive design standards
• Create high-fidelity interface designs and interactive prototypes in [REDACTED]
• Use prototypes to explore approaches, communicate interaction behaviour and test ideas before development
• Design responsive web and mobile experiences across screen sizes, devices and platforms
• Refine designs through user testing, stakeholder input and development-team feedback
• Create and apply reusable components, interaction patterns and design standards
• Contribute to design systems and component libraries
• Collaborate with developers to ensure practical implementation and fidelity to the intended experience
• Champion standards across visual design, interaction design, accessibility and overall design quality
• Work as part of a cross-functional product team with Product, Engineering, Research and Design specialists
• Communicate design thinking and rationale using research, customer insight and data
• Facilitate collaborative sessions and design discussions
• Contribute from discovery and problem definition through design, validation and delivery
• Champion shared design principles, patterns and ways of working to create a consistent customer experience

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience across UX, Product or UI Design within digital products and services
• Experience translating user research, testing, customer insight and data into practical design solutions
• Proven ability creating customer journeys, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes
• Advanced experience with [REDACTED], including responsive web/mobile design and prototyping
• Experience using and contributing to design systems, component libraries and reusable patterns
• Strong understanding of accessibility, inclusive design and user-centred design principles
• Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams, collaborating with Product, Research and Engineering from discovery through to delivery
