📋 Description

• Plan and conduct UX research, usability studies, and mixed-method discovery
• Partner with Product and UX Design to formulate discovery plans and recommend research methodologies
• Identify and recruit appropriate customers, participants, and stakeholders
• Lead end-to-end research, including discussion guide development, study facilitation, analysis, synthesis, and sharing findings
• Conduct surveys, in-depth interviews, remote feedback, usability testing, prototype-based research, user outreach, use-case discovery, persona and journey mapping, and validation
• Translate customer feedback and research data into actionable insights and strategy and design recommendations
• Lead or participate in workshops and communicate strategic research decisions and outcomes to leadership
• Provide project leadership to researchers and designers
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, Customer Success, Data Science, and Customer Insights to strengthen persona, journey, and use-case understanding

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a UX researcher or in a similar customer-focused research role
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, statistics, human-computer interaction, information systems, or a related field
• Ability to create research strategies and discovery plans
• Ability to develop discussion guides, select methodologies, conduct interviews and studies, and analyze and synthesize findings
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
• Experience translating user feedback into actionable insights

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel to customer sites approximately four times per year

• Healthcare, medical, regulated, payer, acute-care, or financial application research experience preferred
• Experience collaborating in [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] preferred
• Ability to collaborate across Product, UX Design, Engineering, Customer Success, Data Science, Customer Insights, and internal subject matter experts preferred
