Senior UX Designer, YouTube, Shorts Creation

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
• Experience designing consumer products, camera or video creation tools, generative AI applications, or high-complexity consumer products.
• Experience in mobile design, video editing, and utilizing or contributing to design systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Design, validate, and refine feature experiences for Shorts Creation Tools on [REDACTED].
• Work with user experience researchers (UXR) to understand and anticipate user trends and needs and iterate on design solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across [REDACTED] to contribute to product design principles and guidelines for creation experiences.
• Build high-fidelity, interactive prototypes using [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] AI Studio to demonstrate complex AI-driven workflows.
• Design seamlessly across multiple surfaces and touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive user journey through cross-functional collaboration.
