Summary

The Product Design team at [REDACTED] is looking for a Sr. UX Product Designer to bring real craft and ownership to our internal tools - the applications our teams depend on to operate our venues. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned designer with sharp UX/IA instincts, strong product thinking, and a genuine appetite for untangling complex workflows and systems.

You'll take a critical look at how our tooling and information architecture is structured today, and shape where it goes. If you thrive on 0-to-1 challenges, sweat the details, and want your fingerprints on the infrastructure as well as the interface, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the design direction for our internal and B2B backend tools, from information architecture and system design through to polished, production-ready interfaces.
  • Audit and organize our existing backend toolset - mapping how features, workflows, and systems relate to one another and identifying where consolidation, clarity, or restructuring will have the most impact.
  • Leverage AI tools and prototyping to build and validate ideas directly - you're comfortable getting your hands into production, not just handing off specs.
  • Lead features end-to-end: partnering with product managers and engineers to gather requirements, frame problems, iterate on solutions, and deliver organized, well-documented work.
  • Hold a high bar for the UX of every tool you touch, with each one feeling considered and purposeful, not just functional.
  • Own the full arc from strategy to pixels, exercising your own judgment to move work from concept to implementation.
  • Present and defend design decisions clearly to stakeholders, grounding your rationale in user needs and business impact.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and data teams to design interfaces that make complex, high-density information legible and actionable
  • Mentor other designers on the team, offering direct and constructive feedback that raises the quality of the work.
  • Foster a culture of honest, empathetic communication and high craft.

Experience

  • 7+ years of technical product design experience in software, with a track record of shaping complex products, ideally tools, ops, or B2B applications.
  • Deep UX and IA chops: you can untangle messy workflows, rethink information hierarchies, and design systems that scale.
  • Strong product thinking: you understand the "why" behind the work and can hold your own in conversations about strategy, tradeoffs, and prioritization.
  • Experience shipping work with AI tools; you treat them as a creative and technical accelerator, not a novelty.
  • Experience maintaining or contributing to a design system used across multiple product surfaces.
  • A portfolio that shows evidence of systems thinking, end-to-end ownership, and work built in fast-paced product organizations.
  • High proficiency in Figma and a habit of pulling in new tools and technologies when they make the work better.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: you can walk a room through a complex system and make it legible.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in design, HCI, or a related field.

The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $120,000- $155,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment. This requirement is in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws. [REDACTED] is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
