The [REDACTED] UX Design Team works to help transform the future of home construction and field service management. Working at the forefront of digital transformation, our designers develop a deep understanding of our core users and work to ensure their needs are represented throughout the product development process.

As a Senior UX Designer at [REDACTED], you will lead the design of complex workflows and experiences across our application suite, translating complicated business and operational requirements into intuitive, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

You will work closely with Product, Development, Business stakeholders, and other designers to define problems, explore solutions, and deliver experiences that drive adoption, efficiency, and engagement. Senior designers are expected to take ownership of their work from early discovery through implementation, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and help influence product direction through strong user advocacy and design thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the UX design process for complex features and workflows from discovery and concept development through implementation.
• Translate complex business requirements, technical constraints, and user needs into intuitive and scalable user experiences.
• Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes to communicate and validate design solutions.
• Partner closely with Product Owners, developers, and business stakeholders to define problems, evaluate solutions, and make informed product decisions.
• Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership, clearly communicating design rationale and tradeoffs.
• Identify usability issues and opportunities for improvement across the application suite, including areas beyond assigned features.
• Work closely with development teams throughout implementation to ensure the delivered experience meets design intent and user needs.
• Consider end-to-end workflows and cross-product impacts when designing new functionality.
• Help evolve and maintain [REDACTED]'s design system, including reusable components, patterns, standards, and documentation.
• Promote consistency, usability, responsiveness, and accessibility across web and mobile experiences.
• Mentor and provide constructive feedback to other designers through design reviews, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
• Help improve UX processes, tools, standards, and collaboration practices across Product, Design, and Development.
• Stay current with emerging UX practices, technologies, and design tools and evaluate opportunities to improve our products and design process.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional UX/Product Design experience, preferably designing complex software or SaaS applications.
• Demonstrated experience independently leading complex design initiatives from discovery through implementation.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered problem solving, interaction design, and thoughtful decision-making across complex workflows.
• Expert proficiency with Figma for interface design, prototyping, component creation, and collaboration.
• Strong experience working within and contributing to a design system.
• Experience designing responsive web applications and mobile experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to think end-to-end and evaluate the impact of design decisions across multiple workflows or products.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, usability, accessibility, and Design Thinking principles.
• Strong understanding of visual design, typography, hierarchy, spacing, and layout principles.
• Experience conducting or participating in user research and usability testing.
• Comfortable presenting design recommendations and receiving feedback from senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Ability to clearly articulate design decisions, rationale, and tradeoffs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex business processes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment with evolving requirements and priorities.
• Experience mentoring or providing design guidance to other designers is preferred.
• Experience designing enterprise, B2B, construction, field-service, or workflow-heavy software is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
