Senior UI/UX Designer
About this role
[REDACTED] is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to support the DoD in building a next-generation Air Force aircraft maintenance application powered by Angular, Apigee, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud. Designers on this team play a critical role in shaping how Air Force maintainers interact with the platform by translating complex maintenance workflows into intuitive and effective user experiences.
You'll work closely with engineers, architects, product stakeholders, and end users to design interfaces that improve usability, efficiency, and operational effectiveness across the aircraft maintenance platform.
Location: Remote within the continental United States Citizenship & Clearance Requirement: per client requirements, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or related field (preferred) [REDACTED] Internal Thrive Level: Senior UI/UX Designer

HOW YOU'LL DRIVE IMPACT
- Lead the design of intuitive, user-centered interfaces for a complex aircraft maintenance platform
- Translate operational workflows and technical requirements into clear, usable interface designs
- Create and iterate on user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups
