📋 Description
- Help shape new user experiences for the [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] app team
- Craft visually striking interface designs for the global LGBTQ+ community
- Partner with product managers and engineers to solve user problems with design
- Test concepts and contribute to ongoing projects
- Contribute to and advance design systems and new features
- Deliver polished, engineering-ready UI
- Plan lightweight user tests, gather insights, and apply findings
- Host design reviews and workshops to align stakeholders and generate ideas
- Collaborate with engineers to balance design quality with technical feasibility
- Work independently and collaboratively in a remote, distributed team
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years in product design, UI/UX, or visual design
- 2–3 years in consumer-facing native mobile apps
- Demonstrable portfolio highlighting collaboration with Product Management to design user flows, test concepts, refine UI/UX, and deliver polished design work for software or mobile apps
- Proficient in Figma, including component libraries and motion prototypes
- Ability to define a visual style and guide other designers or contractors in executing it consistently
- Experience contributing to or evolving a design system across multiple products
- Strong understanding of composition, typography, and storytelling for in-app surfaces and campaigns
- Organized, self-directed, and skilled at driving clarity across product, marketing, and engineering
- Experience with agile teams and iterative delivery
- Familiarity with After Effects, Lottie, Rive, or motion design tools for lightweight motion assets (bonus)
- Enthusiasm for or experience in one or more of the communities served by the products (bonus)
