📋 Description
- Work independently on product problems rather than predefined tickets, investigating the product, talking to users, exploring options, and producing buildable specifications
- Collaborate closely with engineers in [REDACTED]; maintain specifications, explorations, and decisions alongside the work
- Participate in daily standups and continuously share work in progress
- Conduct weekly customer calls and onboarding sessions
- Observe estimators using the product and ground design decisions in customer research
- Share progress in the team channel and present at reviews
- Receive and act on direct feedback from the team and founder
- Use AI daily for research, writing, analysis, and building
🎯 Requirements
- A portfolio of shipped product design for complex, data-heavy tools, with real products and real users rather than concept work
- Systems thinking: designing components and patterns rather than one-off screens
- High ownership, speed, and comfort with ambiguity
- Strong written and verbal English
- Clear asynchronous communication
- Front-end skills, including React and Tailwind, are a plus
- Experience with B2B SaaS, construction, or other industrial software is a plus
