📋 Description

• Develop digital health products that help people live healthier lives and actively participate in managing their treatment
• Plan and lead user research with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
• Identify and prioritize relevant user and customer problems together with Product Managers
• Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into product opportunities
• Validate concepts through interviews, prototypes, and usability testing
• Design intuitive end-to-end experiences for web and mobile
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces
• Balance user needs with business goals as well as clinical, regulatory, and technical requirements
• Work closely with Engineering during implementation and ensure the quality of the final product experience
• Apply usability engineering principles and contribute to documentation for regulated medical device software
• Consider accessibility, patient safety, and regulatory requirements
• Translate complex requirements into clear user experiences in collaboration with Clinical and Regulatory teams
• Further develop the design system and ensure consistency across products and platforms
• Optimize complete user journeys and service experiences
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Regulatory teams as a product partner
• Facilitate workshops and collaborative discovery and design sessions
• Communicate design decisions clearly and persuasively
• Support other designers through feedback and mentoring
• Further develop design processes and ways of working

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience designing complex digital products across the entire process, from discovery through delivery
• Excellent UX, interaction, and visual design skills
• Strong product thinking and strategic understanding
• Experience planning and conducting user research
• Experience translating qualitative and quantitative insights into clear product direction
• Evidence-based approach to improving usability and user outcomes
• Experience working cross-functionally
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and able to structure complex challenges
• Very strong German and English skills (C1) are essential
• Advanced proficiency in [REDACTED] and modern prototyping tools
• Experience with regulated healthcare or medical device products, as well as knowledge of DiGA, MDR, BfArM, IEC 62366, or ISO 13485 (nice to have)
• Experience with behavioral design or behavior change (nice to have)
• Experience further developing design systems (nice to have)
• Active use and exploration of AI tools and workflows (nice to have)
