📋 Description
- Lead end-to-end design for strategic product initiatives within an AI-enabled product development life cycle
- Translate user needs, business goals, and product requirements into experience frameworks, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and production-ready designs
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Delivery, Enablement, Research, and Content teams
- Guide AI-assisted product design workflows and provide human design oversight
- Iterate on design concepts and AI-generated outputs for intuitiveness, accessibility, scalability, and consistency
- Own and evolve the design system
- Ensure UI components and interaction patterns are reusable and implementable across products and workflows
- Champion WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
- Identify design opportunities, clarify ambiguous requirements, and surface risks early
- Collaborate with Product Managers on product strategy and Engineering on design fidelity and technical feasibility
- Work with Research to identify gaps, validate solutions, and translate insights into product decisions
- Establish quality controls for AI-generated experiences
- Lead design critiques and establish quality standards
- Coach team members on human and AI-assisted design methodologies
- Foster responsible collaboration between human creativity, design expertise, and AI
🎯 Requirements
- Must reside in the United States in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia
- Must provide proof of US citizenship at time of hire
- Hands-on experience using Claude, Claude Design, Figma Make, Figma Design Agent, or similar AI tools in day-to-day design work
- Experience designing and delivering product experiences for web and mobile applications
- Strong design judgment, executional excellence, and AI-native workflows
- Deep understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and typography
- Experience in motion design or micro-interactions
- Experience building and scaling design systems
- Understanding of design-system governance and design-to-development handoff processes
- Advanced, expert-level proficiency in Figma, including variables, auto-layout, advanced prototyping, and complex component libraries
- Basic understanding of front-end development: HTML, CSS, and React
- Excellent written and visual communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and project assignments in a fast-paced, dynamically changing environment
- Background check and other role-dependent screening may be required
- Must have work authorization in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship requirements
