Senior Product Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to take full ownership of end-to-end design across multiple products within our growing vertical.

In this role, you will be the sole design authority for the vertical. Because there is no internal design review or design lead, you will be responsible for making autonomous design decisions, defending your choices with data and UX logic, and driving execution from concept to engineering handoff. You will work across data-dense interfaces, conversion funnels, and build a unified design system that serves multiple products.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Lead product design across multiple concurrent products within the vertical, managing all project phases independently.
• Design Systems: Architect, maintain, and document a multi-product design system in Figma—separating shared foundations from product-specific elements.
• Data-Dense UI/UX: Design complex interfaces featuring search results, data records, hierarchical data, ranking, confidence indicators, and all screen states (empty, error, loading, zero-results).
• Conversion Optimization: Design high-converting marketing landing pages, checkout processes, paywalls, add-on flows, and cancellation paths.
• Data-Informed Design: Analyze user funnel metrics using Amplitude to identify friction points and validate design changes with measurable impact.
• Developer Handoff: Structure production-ready Figma libraries and work closely with engineering teams using Jira for asynchronous and real-time execution.

Requirements

Core Expertise

• Senior-Level Autonomy: Proven track record of owning product design independently, navigating ambiguity, and articulating design rationale to stakeholders without needing design direction.
• Advanced Figma Mastery: Deep experience with variables, modes, auto-layout, components/variants, property structures, published libraries, interactive prototypes, and Dev Mode workflows.
• Design Systems: Demonstrated ability to build, document, and scale shared design systems across more than one product.
• Conversion & Funnel Focus: Hands-on experience optimizing landing pages, checkout/paywall flows, and retention/cancellation flows. Must be able to demonstrate past design changes tied directly to business metrics.
• Analytics Competency: Ability to read funnel data (Amplitude experience preferred) and translate quantitative insights into UX improvements.
• Communication & Tools: Native or full professional English fluency (written and spoken) for product documentation and engineering syncs. Proficiency in Jira and Google Workspace.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred

• Domain Experience: Prior design experience in people-search, background check, identity verification, or related US B2C data products.
• Front-End Understanding: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS constraints to collaborate effectively with engineers on technical feasibility (no coding required).
