📋 Description

• Own core product surfaces from concept through working prototype, including booking flows, scheduling primitives, and team and enterprise surfaces
• Build and test working prototypes using Figma, Claude Code, Cursor, or v0
• Hand off accessible, production-ready prototypes with correct semantics, real states, and reusable primitives
• Continually improve coss ui by auditing gaps, refining primitives, and adding new components to the library
• Maintain design-system tokens, spacing, states, dark mode, and motion
• Pressure-test architecture with Design Engineering, including data shape, state boundaries, and primitive versus one-off decisions
• Own outcomes from hypothesis and success criteria through implementation and results analysis
• Ensure accessibility through keyboard paths, focus management, semantics, contrast, and motion preferences
• Refine empty states, error copy, loading behavior, and motion
• Collaborate openly with the Head of Product and Design Engineer and incorporate critique
• Document design thinking through writing, Loom videos, and prototypes

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level product design experience, owning complex, ambiguous product areas from problem framing through launch and iteration
• Exceptional craft and attention to detail
• Ability to build interactive prototypes independently in code using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React
• Daily use of AI tooling such as Claude Code, Cursor, and v0
• Deep familiarity with web standards and platform primitives
• Real design systems experience, including building and maintaining a design system
• Fluency with headless primitive composition such as Base UI, Radix, or similar
• Real accessibility knowledge, including WCAG, ARIA, and assistive technology
• Understanding of APIs, data models, state, and design architecture constraints
• Ability to form hypotheses, select measures, and interpret data
• Strong written communication
• High-trust, high-autonomy mindset and ability to thrive asynchronously
• Portfolio, repository, or prototype demonstrating shipped work
