Senior Product Designer (Proposals)
About this role
As a Senior Product Designer on our design team, you will be part of the Proposals product squad. You will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of the tools contractors use to win the job, often balancing competing goals of fidelity, release velocity, delight, and developer bandwidth
You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, user-centered designs that exceed customer expectations and drive business success. Our goal is to enable you to do the best design work of your career by providing agency as a designer to make critical product decisions
- Own the end-to-end design process for the Proposals Squad while collaborating closely with product managers and engineers
- Work in an iterative design process: initiating UX research, prototyping, usability testing, incorporating internal+external feedback, and evaluating metrics when available
- Apply strategic thinking to product features, ensuring your design solutions align with company goals
- Contribute to the design team’s culture through design jams, critiques, retrospectives, and cross-squad initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights to incorporate into your design solutions
- Advocate for our users. We are customer-obsessed, and every decision is made with our customers in mind
