📋 Description

• Define and evolve the UI/UX vision and experience strategy for [REDACTED] applications
• Translate business goals and user needs into experience roadmaps and priorities
• Lead and develop a team of 3–5 UI/UX designers and researchers
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders during discovery and delivery
• Establish and maintain scalable experience standards and patterns across products
• Own and mature the design system, including patterns, components, and accessibility guidance
• Drive human-centered discovery and validation, including research planning, usability testing, journey mapping, and insight synthesis
• Oversee end-to-end UX/UI design, including information architecture, interaction design, high-fidelity UI, prototyping, and design reviews
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design practices aligned with WCAG
• Use analytics, support insights, and user research to inform decisions and improve adoption, efficiency, and satisfaction
• Improve design operations, intake, prioritization, critiques, templates, and governance across the application portfolio

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX, product design, or digital experience design delivering modern digital products (web and/or responsive applications)
• Doctoral Degree in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, UX Research, UX design or a related field
• Strong UX fundamentals: interaction design, information architecture, usability, accessibility, and human-centered design methods
• Demonstrated experience designing for complex B2B experiences with multiple personas, high information density, and workflow-driven journeys
• Proven ability to partner effectively with Product and Engineering leaders, influencing prioritization and aligning stakeholders across functions
• Experience building, governing, or significantly contributing to a design system and partnering with Engineering on component alignment and adoption
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., [REDACTED])
• Strong design communication skills, including storytelling, rationale, and decision framing
• Ability to present a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking and shipped outcomes
• The following are plus qualifications, but not required: 2+ years of people leadership experience; UX research leadership in an agile product environment; scaling a design function; experience measurement and optimization; modernizing legacy user experiences
