📋 Description
- Build, scale, and document a design system for web, iOS, Android, and TV
- Design reusable components, patterns, and tokens
- Partner with front-end engineers to ship components in Storybook
- Establish rules for product teams to evolve the system consistently
- Review the product for design gaps and lead fixes across the suite
- Write living documentation, including how-to guides, do-and-don’t examples, and specifications
- Own WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility across the component library
- Collaborate with brand and marketing to align product and brand
- Use [REDACTED] Make to prototype and test component behavior before handoff
- Manage design system versions and track changes in [REDACTED]
- Report to the VP of Design Systems
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years in product design, with at least 2 years on design systems
- Great [REDACTED] skills, including variables, components, and library setup
- Hands-on work with [REDACTED] Make to build and test components
- Experience using Storybook to document components and pair with engineers
- Comfort with [REDACTED] for version control, PRs, and system updates
- Solid grasp of front-end basics: HTML, CSS, and component frameworks
- Portfolio showing systems thinking, sharp craft, and clear documentation
- Strong writing and speaking skills to guide teams and lead design reviews
- Experience working on video, streaming, or other media products
- Understanding of motion design as applied to UI
- Experience in an Agile, sprint-based team
- Skill with TV and 10-foot UIs
