📋 Description
- Develop and communicate product vision aligned with enterprise strategy, customer needs, and measurable business objectives
- Translate strategic priorities into customer or business problems for the product team to solve
- Establish outcome-based product goals, success measures, guardrails, and leading indicators
- Maintain an outcome-oriented roadmap focused on strategic intent, learning priorities, and anticipated impact
- Make evidence-based product decisions using customer insights, analytics, operational data, market information, and business performance
- Evaluate progress and recommend whether to continue, adjust, scale, or stop investments
- Balance near-term opportunities with long-term product health, scalability, sustainability, and strategic differentiation
- Develop customer, user, buyer, stakeholder, and market understanding through research, observation, usability testing, journey analysis, and quantitative data
- Lead continuous discovery with product design and engineering; frame opportunities as testable hypotheses
- Evaluate value, viability, usability, and feasibility risks using prototypes, experiments, technical spikes, customer testing, and analytics
- Synthesize discovery evidence and recommend which opportunities and solutions should advance
- Partner with engineering, design, Product Owners, architecture, data, operations, and other contributors to deliver incremental product releases
- Provide strategic context and timely product decisions while enabling specialists to perform their work
- Prioritize opportunities and investments based on outcomes, customer impact, evidence, risk, effort, and strategic alignment
- Make trade-offs involving scope, timing, quality, customer experience, operational readiness, and business value
- Maintain alignment between product strategy, roadmap, discovery pipeline, and delivery backlog
- Enable frequent delivery of small increments to gather feedback, measure results, and adapt quickly
- Participate in planning, reviews, demonstrations, and other team activities requiring product context or decisions
- Monitor adoption, customer behavior, reliability, operational performance, and business results after launch
- Resolve production issues, improve product health, address technical debt, and optimize the product throughout its lifecycle
- Understand business model, strategic objectives, financial considerations, operating processes, customer commitments, and regulatory environment
- Identify enterprise constraints involving compliance, privacy, legal, security, finance, sales, service, and operations
- Engage enterprise partners early to inform discovery and build alignment through evidence, data, options, trade-offs, and outcomes
- Influence senior leaders and stakeholders and communicate strategy, decisions, risks, learning, progress, and results to executive, business, technical, and operational audiences
- Manage cross-product dependencies and escalate unresolved decisions
- Provide meaningful context, customer access, clear outcomes, and decision-making guardrails to the product team
- Promote healthy debate, experimentation, rapid learning, respectful challenge, and shared accountability
- Support the organization’s transition from project delivery and feature output toward durable teams, continuous learning, and outcome ownership
- Leverage AI for customer understanding, product discovery, analysis, decision-making, automation, knowledge management, customer experiences, business outcomes, and operational efficiency
- Define and measure outcomes for AI-enabled capabilities while maintaining human judgment, accountability, transparency, and governance
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Five or more years of product management, digital product, technology product, or comparable experience
- Experience owning a technology-enabled product or significant product area through discovery, delivery, launch, measurement, and optimization
- Experience working with cross-functional partners such as engineering, design, data, architecture, operations, marketing, service, legal, compliance, or finance
- Ability to identify customer problems and convert insights into product strategy and measurable outcomes
- Experience using qualitative research and quantitative data to make decisions
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and structured problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, reconcile competing needs, and make sound decisions with incomplete information
- Strong written, verbal, facilitation, presentation, and executive communication skills
- Working knowledge of modern software development, Agile delivery, product analytics, experimentation, and product discovery practices
- Ability to influence across organizational boundaries without relying solely on positional authority
- Preferred: experience in regulated, complex, or highly matrixed enterprise environments
- Preferred: experience with empowered product teams, continuous discovery, dual-track product development, or outcome-based roadmaps
- Preferred: familiarity with customer interviewing, prototyping, usability testing, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and opportunity-solution mapping
- Preferred: experience defining product objectives, key results, guardrail metrics, and product performance dashboards
- Preferred: understanding of software architecture, APIs, data platforms, cloud technologies, automation, artificial intelligence, or emerging technologies
- Preferred: Agile or product management certification
- Preferred: experience with Jira, Confluence, product analytics platforms, research repositories, or visual collaboration tools
- Preferred: familiarity with generative AI, machine learning product patterns, AI evaluation, responsible AI practices, model or data risk, and human-centered AI design
- Preferred: experience applying AI-enabled tools to improve product discovery, analysis, documentation, decision support, or operating efficiency
