Responsibilities
- Create high-quality Figma designs, including wireframes, UI components, layouts, design systems, and interactive prototypes.
- Define and refine user experience strategy based on product goals, customer behavior, and usability principles.
- Conduct domain research, user studies, competitor analysis, workflow mapping, and persona development.
- Translate business and product requirements into clear UX flows, interaction models, and intuitive user journeys.
- Build interactive designs that demonstrate motion, transitions, usability interactions, and user behavior expectations.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Frontend teams, and Business SMEs to align design intent with technical feasibility.
- Participate in design reviews, usability assessments, and iterative design improvements based on feedback.
- Maintain consistency across products by managing and evolving design systems and UI pattern libraries.
- Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and platform-specific UX best practices are incorporated into product design.
Technical Requirements
Design Tools
- Strong expertise in Figma (auto-layout, components, variants, prototyping, design systems).
- Hands-on experience with design and UX tools such as:
- FigJam, Miro, Sketch, Adobe XD (optional), or similar collaboration platforms.
UX Skills
- Ability to produce user flows, journey maps, IA diagrams, storyboards, and cross-platform responsive layouts.
- Understanding of usability heuristics, cognitive load, interaction design principles, and accessibility guidelines.
- Ability to run or support usability tests, A/B tests, and feedback-driven design iterations.
- Experience working with agile teams, participating in sprint planning, design grooming, and requirement discussions.
- Ability to communicate design rationale and UX decisions to engineering and product teams.
- Understanding of handoff workflows using Figma Inspect, annotations, component specs, and versioning.
Preferred Exposure (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience contributing to or building design systems for multi-module applications.
- Exposure to B2B, SaaS, analytics, or operations-heavy product environments.
- Basic understanding of frontend constraints (HTML/CSS/React) for realistic handoffs.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive behavior, and platform guidelines (Web, iOS, Android).
