As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our Client Portal experience. You will own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for your product area, making informed decisions about what to build and when to deliver the greatest value for our clients and the organization.

Working closely with business, technology, UX, and delivery teams, you will translate client needs and business priorities into clear, actionable plans. Join one of the region’s top employers and be part of something that truly makes a difference.

Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

What you’ll do:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, MVP, roadmap, and iterative release plans, aligning priorities to business objectives and client outcomes
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, making informed decisions about what the team should focus on and when
  • Translate client needs, business priorities, and stakeholder feedback into clear features, requirements, and priorities for delivery
  • Partner closely with business, UX, technology, and delivery teams to guide features from discovery through delivery
  • Define the value and desired outcomes for product initiatives and use client feedback, analytics, and business results to inform ongoing priorities
  • Manage stakeholders, communicate outcomes and progress, facilitate planning discussions, and incorporate feedback into product priorities
  • Navigate competing priorities, dependencies, risks, and constraints to support effective product decisions and incremental delivery
  • Champion a client-centered approach, ensuring the experience continues to evolve based on client needs and measurable outcomes

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop a deep understanding of the business domain, client needs, processes, technology, and regulatory considerations
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and translate strategy into actionable priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the confidence to advocate for priorities, manage expectations, and make informed product decisions
  • Ability to articulate a compelling future client experience and connect product decisions to client and business value
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, facilitate discussions, and communicate decisions and outcomes clearly
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver incremental value
  • Experience with collaboration and delivery tools such as Miro, Figma, FigJam, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Teams
  • Understanding of digital analytics and how data and insights can inform product decisions and continuous improvement

What’s in it for you:

  • Career Growth: Regular learning sessions and development opportunities
  • Total Rewards: Allowance provided in place of vacation pay and benefits
  • Flexibility: Healthy work-life balance with employee wellness always top of mind, complemented by a “dress for your day” approach

We’re committed to fair pay and an inclusive, accessible hiring experience. If you need accommodations or alternative formats at any stage, just reach out to us at [REDACTED]. We’re happy to help.

If you’re selected to move forward, our Talent Acquisition team will walk you through all the details of our total rewards program, so you know exactly what’s included. This position is open and we are excited to find the right person to join our team. Your base pay will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and education.

At [REDACTED], your resume will be reviewed by real people and all hiring decisions are made by our recruiters and hiring managers. AI tools may be used to support administrative and productivity tasks throughout the recruitment process, but we believe that evaluating experience, skills, and talent potential requires meaningful human interaction.
