In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The [REDACTED] User Analytics team’s goal is to drive better decision making for all [REDACTED] by providing high quality user data across our suite of products. The team curates large, complex datasets to help solve difficult analysis problems and aims to provide better data for better decisions so that we can build better products for our users.The team consists of about 100 [REDACTED] across UX, software engineers, product and program management and analysts, with a motivated mission aimed at answering the most important questions across [REDACTED] like how are our users using [REDACTED] products and services? How has that changed over time? and who are our users? Where are they from, and what characterizes them? How frequently do our users interact with any given [REDACTED] Product?

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at [REDACTED].

Responsibilities

  • Help improve understanding of userbase trends across and within [REDACTED] products to drive better product strategy and tactics.
  • Engage directly with users to understand their problems, prioritize feature requests, and measure the impact of newly launched content projects.
  • Define product requirements and collaborate with engineering and UX teams to expedite the development of new data features with high quality.
  • Work with cross-functional partners and [REDACTED] product areas (like Search, YouTube) to better understand their data needs, translating them into actionable product design choices.
  • Advocate for great data interpretability and design at [REDACTED], helping teams utilize the team’s tools to inform investment decisions.

Salary Range

138,000 - 197,000 USD annually
