Product Designer - (UI Design)

Role Overview:

[REDACTED] is looking for a Design System & Interaction Design Specialist to own and evolve their design system and bring interfaces to life through thoughtful motion and interaction design. The role involves building foundational infrastructure, defining micro-interactions, and collaborating with product teams to maintain consistency and enhance user delight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve the [REDACTED] design system components, tokens, patterns, and documentation
• Build and maintain Figma component libraries with proper variant structures, auto layout, and variable bindings
• Define and implement design token architecture using Figma Variables, supporting theming and multi-platform consistency
• Design delightful micro-interactions that enhance the overall user experience and create memorable moments
• Define motion principles, timing standards, and animation guidelines for the design system
• Collaborate with developers to ensure animations are implemented correctly and performantly
• Partner with product management and engineering to define innovative solutions for product direction
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Share ideas early for feedback, be open to testing, and iterate rapidly
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders
• Contribute to research, both qualitative and quantitative to inform design decisions
• Document the process thoroughly

Qualification Required:

• Proven experience building and maintaining design systems at scale, with a portfolio demonstrating component libraries, token architecture, and documentation
