Product Designer (Remote) — UX/UI for AI Creator Tools

Design AI creation experiences that feel simple, trustworthy and satisfying from the first upload to the final result.

[REDACTED] is an online creator tool for AI-powered face swapping across photos, video, GIFs, multi-face images and AI portraits. Users can try core workflows without signing up and can access additional capabilities through credit packs and account history. We are looking for a hands-on Product Designer who can combine interaction design, visual craft and lightweight user research to make complex AI workflows easy to understand.

This is a fully remote role. We welcome applicants across time zones; any location-specific engagement requirements, compensation, collaboration hours and applicable benefits will be discussed transparently early in the process.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end UX/UI for upload, face selection, processing, progress, results, downloads, history, credits and purchase journeys.
• Reduce friction in first-use and no-sign-up experiences while making limits, errors and next steps clear.
• Design responsive, accessible experiences for mobile and desktop, including empty, loading, failure and recovery states.
• Run focused research with creators and new users; translate qualitative signals and product data into priorities.
• Prototype and test new ideas quickly, then work closely with engineering through implementation and quality review.
• Build and evolve a practical design system that speeds up consistent delivery.
• Make consent, privacy, transparency and responsible-use guidance visible without overwhelming legitimate creative workflows.

What will help you succeed

• A portfolio showing shipped consumer or prosumer digital products and your role in the outcome.
• Strong interaction design, information architecture and visual hierarchy skills.
• Fluency with [REDACTED] and rapid prototyping, plus comfort moving from rough concepts to production-ready specifications.
• Ability to plan lightweight research, synthesize findings and use metrics to evaluate design decisions.
• Clear product writing and excellent collaboration with engineering and growth partners.

Useful, not required: experience with creator tools, AI products, photo/video editing, growth design, accessibility or trust-and-safety UX. We value the quality of your thinking and shipped work over a particular degree or pedigree.

What success could look like in your first 90 days

• Complete an evidence-based UX audit of the core creation journey and prioritize the highest-leverage opportunities.
• Prototype, test and help ship at least one measurable workflow improvement.
• Create a lightweight design-system foundation and a research cadence the team can keep using.
