About the Role
Fintech in India is full of apps designed to make people trade more. We're building the opposite — a product that helps Affluent Investors make fewer, better decisions. As our Product Designer, you'll own the design function end to end: research, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and the design system underneath it all. You won't be executing someone else's vision — you'll be defining how trust-first investing looks and feels.
What You'll Do
- Own UI/UX design across the [REDACTED] app and web — from wireframes and user flows to polished, shippable screens
- Lead UX research: user interviews, interaction surveys, and usability testing with real HNI investors
- Turn research into product decisions — you'll sit in on product calls, not just receive tickets
- Build and maintain our design system for consistency as we scale
- Take on other design and product requirements as the company grows
Must Have
- 1–3 years of product design experience with shipped work (fintech or consumer apps preferred)
- Strong Figma proficiency — components, prototypes, design systems
- A portfolio demonstrating both craft (clean UI) and thinking (research-backed decisions)
- Ability to run user research independently and defend design choices with evidence
- Comfort with ambiguity — you'll often be the only designer in the room
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for financial products (investing, wealth, banking)
- Understanding of SEBI RIA communication constraints on financial UI (disclaimers, risk disclosures)
- Basic motion/interaction design skills
- Familiarity with front-end handoff (developer collaboration, design tokens)
