About The Role

We are seeking a talented Lead Product Designer to join our rapidly growing fintech organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the design of financial tools used daily by thousands of businesses and accounting professionals. Your work will span the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery and research to high-fidelity design and delivery. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, efficient, and innovative user experiences that simplify complex financial workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence product strategy, drive cross-functional collaboration, and lead design initiatives that have a meaningful impact on our users. As a Lead Product Designer, you will take ownership of complex design challenges, advocate for user-centered solutions, and elevate the overall quality and consistency of our design systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and complex workflow management
• Proven experience leading large-scale, end-to-end design projects
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Experience influencing product strategy and contributing to roadmaps
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale to stakeholders
• Experience designing for B2B, fintech, or financial data-driven products
• Knowledge of AI-powered product experiences, including automation, recommendations, and intelligent assistants
• Familiarity with emerging AI design patterns and mechanisms for user control and oversight
• Comfort working with front-end code, prototyping tools, or AI-enabled workflows to facilitate collaboration
• Ability to mentor junior and mid-level designers and foster a collaborative team environment
• Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Own the design strategy and execution for one or more product areas, managing work from discovery through delivery with autonomy
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and technical partners to define problems, validate solutions, and ensure high-quality releases
• Establish and maintain strong design patterns, contribute to the design system, and lead critique sessions to elevate design quality
• Facilitate workshops and design reviews that translate complex workflows into clear, testable concepts
• Design AI-powered and automation-assisted experiences, including interaction models, human-in-the-loop workflows, and system behaviors that foster user trust
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative data—such as usability testing, analytics, and customer feedback—to refine and improve products post-launch
• Mentor and support the growth of junior and mid-level designers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of excellence
• Represent the design perspective in product planning, helping shape roadmaps, scope, and strategic decisions in partnership with leadership
