As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Multimedia Designer to join our software development team in Point Cook, VIC 3030.

This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about digital media, visual storytelling, and creating engaging content for the technology sector & marketing purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

🎨 Multimedia Design & Production

• Plan, design, and produce digital multimedia content for websites, social media, advertising campaigns, and educational presentations.
• Create layouts, visual assets, and interactive multimedia content for digital platforms.
• Use specialised software to develop static and animated graphics, videos, motion graphics, and interactive content.

📝 Content Creation & Development

• Design engaging promotional content, instructional materials, and marketing visuals for digital channels.
• Produce multimedia prototypes, mock-ups, and storyboards that incorporate voice, images, text, and animation.
• Research and select appropriate software, tools, and technologies for multimedia production.

🤝 Collaboration & Innovation

• Work closely with developers, marketers, and business analysts to ensure multimedia content aligns with business goals.
• Contribute creative ideas for digital marketing campaigns, video production, and visual communication strategies.
• Stay updated on new trends and technologies in multimedia design, animation, and digital marketing.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

✅ Education:

• A Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Information Technology, or a related field.

✅ Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of one year of practical experience in roles such as Multimedia Designer, Digital Designer, Graphic Designer, or a comparable creative position.
• A well-rounded portfolio that highlights diverse multimedia work, including digital graphics, video editing, animation, and visual storytelling.
• Competence in using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro), Final Cut Pro, Canva, or equivalent design software.
• Strong grasp of design fundamentals, including typography, colour schemes, and visual composition.
• Hands-on experience in motion graphics creation, animation techniques, and video editing workflows.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles is desirable but not essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capability to collaborate effectively in team settings.
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovative design solutions and enthusiasm for multimedia technologies.
• Prior exposure to the Australian market and awareness of local design trends would be beneficial.
