About the Design Team

We have an award-winning Design team ([REDACTED]) comprising more than 30 UX Designers, UI Designers, Design System Designers, Motion Designers, UX Researchers, UX Writers, and Strategists. You’ll join our UX Writing hub, a small, horizontal team that supports product squads across multiple markets and sets the standards the rest of the team writes against. About the Role

We’re looking for a Mid/Snr UX Writer who can hold both sides of the role: writing for live product work, and shaping the standards the rest of the team writes against. You will spend most of your time writing copy across product surfaces, but the work that defines your impact will be the content design decisions that sit upstream of writing. Things like terminology standards, date and time formats, voice and tone for new surfaces, and the patterns that other teams in the business need to align to.

This is a role where strategic thinking matters more than years of experience. The team’s work is increasingly visible across the design system, engineering, QA, and legal, and we need someone who can carry our point of view into those rooms. Experience in fintech is helpful but not essential. Critical thinking, an eye for systems, and the ability to defend content decisions in cross-functional conversations are what we’re hiring for.

The role is hybrid. You can be based in SEA or ideally in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. For those willing to relocate to HCMC, Vietnam, we offer a competitive relocation package and can negotiate a delayed relocation timeline.

What you’ll do

• Write customer-facing copy for products, such as microscopy, notifications, and error messages, with attention to clarity and consistency at the journey level, not just the screen level.
• Contribute to and evolve our content standards, style guides, and pattern libraries; this is the system the rest of the team writes against.
• Use AI tooling actively to identify inconsistencies, draft variants for testing, and interrogate content decisions before committing to them.
• Review product messaging before it goes live to maintain quality standards across markets.
• Review user data to understand customer behaviour and adapt messaging accordingly, as well as measure the impact of UX writing on user behaviour and adoption.
• Coordinate with the UX Writing hub to ensure consistency, localisation, and accessibility.
• Present and defend content decisions cross-functionally, including with partners outside design (engineering, QA, legal, brand).

Requirements

• A passion for UX writing and content design.
• 2 to 4 years of experience writing for digital products.
• A background in UX writing, product writing, content design, or digital copywriting, with a portfolio that demonstrates both execution and strategic thinking. Only applications with a shared portfolio are taken into consideration.
• Demonstrable experience collaborating with different teams across countries and time zones.
• Experience working in a crypto currency environment, with the ability to explain complex concepts to new users
• Experience contributing to content standards, style guides, or pattern libraries, with examples of how your input shaped the work.
• The ability to present and defend content decisions cross-functionally, including with partners outside design (engineering, QA, legal, or brand).
• Strong product writing across microcopy, notifications, error messages, and onboarding, with attention to clarity and consistency at the journey level.
• Contribute to the team’s content systems work: terminology, voice and tone, formats, and patterns that other surfaces need to align to.
• Review data to understand customer behaviour and adapt messaging accordingly.
• Review product messaging before it goes live to maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with the UX writer team to ensure consistency and localisation are considered.
