📋 Description

• Translate business and performance needs into high-quality, learner-centred learning solutions that improve capability and performance
• Refine validated briefs to understand business needs, performance issues, audiences, contexts and constraints
• Translate needs into clear learning outcomes and design criteria
• Design blended learning experiences using instructor-led, virtual, on-the-job, self-directed and digital modalities
• Develop learning assets including ILT and VILT materials, workbooks, facilitator guides, job aids, learner handbooks, storyboards, scripts, e-learning and video assets
• Apply creative and instructional design expertise within business and operational constraints
• Pilot, test and iterate learning packages using feedback, testing and data
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders, subject matter experts and Learning Team colleagues
• Create facilitator toolkits and train-the-trainer materials
• Evaluate learning experiences against intended outcomes and refresh, improve or retire solutions
• Maintain design governance across documentation, testing, accessibility, review cycles and version control

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in learning design principles and instructional design, from brief through to evaluation
• Strong capability designing blended learning across ILT, VILT, digital and on-the-job modalities
• Experience translating business needs into learning outcomes, design plans, storyboards, scripts and learning assets
• Excellent visual communication and content design skills
• Confidence using modern design and authoring tools
• Good understanding of adult learning, accessibility, learner engagement and operational usability
• Experience piloting and refining learning solutions using feedback, testing and data
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to challenge constructively
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and version control discipline
• Experience creating facilitator materials and enabling effective learning delivery
• Keeps up to date with current practice, emerging technology and innovation in learning experience design
