Lead UI Designer

As a UI Designer at [REDACTED], you will have the opportunity to work closely with your team to review work outcomes and ensure consistency in design and approach for UI/UX. Your role as a Senior UI Designer will involve collaborating with User Experience Designers, Visual Designers, User Researchers, Front End Engineers, Business Analysts, Copywriters, and other Marketers to enhance the UI/UX experience of web and mobile applications. You will be a subject matter expert for non-design colleagues across the company and participate in design workshops and customer engagement interviews to gather customer insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UI/UX practitioners to review work outcomes and ensure design consistency
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance UI/UX design and development lifecycle
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
• Communicate effectively within the team and with stakeholders while managing multiple projects
• Architect system-wide design solutions that meet product and engineering requirements
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, Zeplin, and Prototyping software (Figma, Sketch, Marvel, Adobe XD, InVision)
• Apply knowledge of Scrum and Design Thinking methodologies
• Conduct customer interviews and journey mapping sessions
• Design and optimize product experiences for desktop, web, and mobile platforms

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelors degree in Design, Creative Design, or relevant discipline
• 5+ years of industry experience as a UI/UX designer
• Experience in B2B platforms is an advantage
• Mastery of UX interaction and design principles
