Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Knowledge Analyst specializing in Payments Fintech to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing and enhancing our knowledge assets related to digital payments, financial technologies, and related data ecosystems. Your expertise will drive the development of structured content, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and support strategic initiatives in the rapidly evolving fintech landscape. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence how financial data and knowledge are organized, accessed, and utilized across multiple platforms and teams.
Duties
- Develop and maintain comprehensive ontologies, taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and metadata schemas to ensure consistent classification of payment-related data and content.
- Design and implement semantic web solutions using standards such as RDF (Resource Description Framework), OWL (Web Ontology Language), SPARQL queries, and linked data principles to enable intelligent data integration and retrieval.
- Manage databases including relational systems like [REDACTED] SQL Server, Drupal CMS platforms, graph databases such as [REDACTED], and other knowledge management tools to optimize data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, UX designers, content strategists, and data scientists—to translate business requirements into effective data models and information architectures.
- Conduct user research, keyword research, and usability testing to enhance content strategies, improve user interfaces (UI), and support digital asset management initiatives.
- Utilize analytics tools like [REDACTED] Analytics 360, [REDACTED], and SEO tools to monitor content performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and inform decision-making processes.
- Develop scripts using Python or scripting languages to automate data collection, transformation workflows, or API integrations for enhanced data management capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in ontology development, semantic web technologies (RDF, OWL), SPARQL querying, and linked data principles within a fintech or payments environment.
- Strong understanding of database management systems including relational databases (SQL), graph databases ([REDACTED]), and content management systems such as Drupal or [REDACTED] Experience Manager.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or JavaScript for scripting tasks related to data processing or API interactions.
- Familiarity with metadata management practices, taxonomy development, controlled vocabularies, and information architecture design.
- Experience working with analytics platforms such as [REDACTED] Analytics 360 or [REDACTED] for performance analysis and reporting.
- Ability to interpret business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring adherence to information governance standards.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with a keen eye for detail in content editing, content strategy development, and user experience (UX) design.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across teams in a fast-paced fintech environment—fostering innovation through shared knowledge management practices.
