📋 Description

• Design marketing materials including sales collateral, promotional items, and print and digital advertisements while maintaining brand identities and style guidelines
• Create digital assets and animated social media graphics in GIF and MOV formats
• Collaborate with the Design team on campaigns for retailers, schools, libraries, and social media platforms
• Support the Senior Art Director with file archiving, workflow coordination, and departmental process management
• Contribute creative ideas for merchandising and advertising campaigns promoting new releases and [REDACTED] classics
• Stay current on design trends, emerging marketing strategies, and social media best practices
• Manage motion graphic projects and digital content for web, social, and email platforms
• Produce printed promotional collateral, point-of-purchase displays, and signage

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects
• Experience using AI platforms and interest in expanding knowledge
• Working knowledge of Premiere Pro and HTML5 is a plus
• Strong digital portfolio demonstrating excellent typography, layout, and visual design skills for marketing
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
• Adaptability and receptiveness to feedback
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Interest in children’s, middle-grade, and young adult literature and publishing trends is a plus
