About the role
Our client is looking for an Intermediate UX/UI Designer to join the design team and play a key role in shaping the digital experience across its web-based property management products.
This is a hands-on role covering the end-to-end design process from research and wireframing through to high-fidelity prototypes and developer handoff with a strong focus on mobile-responsive web applications built in [REDACTED], while setting the design standard for the team.
Key responsibilities
- Design intuitive, mobile-first, responsive web interfaces for property managers and tenants
- Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups and interactive prototypes in [REDACTED]
- Plan and conduct user research, usability testing and A/B testing to inform design decisions
- Contribute to and maintain the product design system for consistency across digital touchpoints
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation and reduce handoff friction
- Work cross-functionally with the General Manager, operations and marketing teams
- Maintain clear design documentation and keep [REDACTED] up to date
About you
- 2–4 years of professional UX/UI design experience, ideally in a product or SaaS environment
- Strong proficiency in [REDACTED] (prototyping, components, auto-layout, design systems)
- Demonstrated experience designing mobile-responsive web applications
- Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and information architecture
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking with measurable outcomes
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- The right to work in New Zealand
