📋 Description

• Lead, manage, and mentor the existing design team
• Set standards for design craft, process, and delivery
• Run regular design critiques and provide actionable feedback
• Own the design process from scoping through review, handoff, and measurement
• Define roles, evaluate portfolios, and lead design hiring as the team scales
• Represent design in product planning and advocate for users
• Contribute directly as an individual contributor on complex, high-leverage design work
• Own UX/UI vision and execution across all [REDACTED] product surfaces
• Design from early concepts and wireframes through high-fidelity, engineering-ready specifications
• Build and maintain a cohesive Figma design system with design tokens, components, and variables
• Own precise engineering handoffs
• Conduct user research and usability testing
• Identify product friction points and design proactive improvements
• Track design impact on product adoption and engagement

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of UX/UI design experience in B2B SaaS
• At least 2 years leading a design team in a fast-paced, small-team environment
• Track record of managing designers while personally shipping high-quality product work
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design; complex workflows, multi-sided platforms, or enterprise tools preferred
• Expert proficiency in Figma, including design systems, design tokens, component libraries, prototyping, and engineering handoff
• Experience designing for multiple user types with different mental models and goals
• Proven ability to lead research, synthesize findings, and translate them into design decisions
• Ability to own design metrics including adoption, engagement, and task completion
• Collaborative and opinionated approach with ability to defend design decisions constructively
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and incomplete information
• Exceptional written and spoken English
