About this role
This position is in-house, not a remote position. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for advertising and social media. This candidate will have experience with Photoshop, ideating advertising campaigns, creating tag lines, and managing multiple social media accounts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Partners to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets (primarily magazines and newsprint)
- Create compelling and effective tag lines, digital advertising, and social media copy
- Manage advertising calendar and stay ahead of deadlines
- Review and submit finalized advertising campaigns according to publication specifics
- Create and manage posts on all social media accounts (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google)
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends
- Manage and organize all assets including original photography and files
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design preferred but not required
- 2-6 years of experience in graphic design for print advertising (magazine & newsprint)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient in social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google My Business & LinkedIn
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, and design skills
- Portfolio of work
