📋 Description

• Set experiential direction and provide strategic guidance across engagements from brief to final delivery, using AI tools to accelerate experimentation and improve work.
• Define and champion principles for great, human-centered products and ensure teams execute with creativity and craft.
• Oversee complex, large-scale engagements as a hands-on leader focused on detail, creativity, and craftsmanship.
• Synthesize user research, business strategy, technical constraints, and stakeholder feedback into clear, defensible design direction.
• Devise product visions, feature sets, and roadmaps, communicating them through strategic narratives.
• Build scalable design systems for consistent, accessible, world-class experiences.
• Collaborate across product, engineering, research, and strategy disciplines.
• Mentor, manage, and grow UX designers.
• Improve design processes and define how AI tools are used within the practice.
• Engage directly with clients to solve problems, ideate, and create digital experiences.
• Lead client presentations, workshops, and working sessions.
• Build lasting client relationships and serve as a trusted strategic design partner.
• Own the end-to-end process from prospective-client conversations through delivery, growth, and ongoing partnership.
• Identify emerging shifts in tools, technology, and practice and translate them into changes in team workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating digital product, service, or systems design work across varied industries and contexts.
• 10+ years of experience in the design industry.
• Meaningful experience leading teams creating human-centered digital experiences at scale.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire designers.
• Thought leadership and strategic thinking with a strong, well-articulated point of view.
• Ability to self-direct and independently drive UX vision from strategy through interaction design to shipped experience.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI-powered design tools.
• Track record of continual practice and process improvement.
• Meticulous eye for detail and strong design aesthetic sensibilities.
• Awareness of design trends, emerging technologies, and innovation.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability and desire to build successful, enduring client relationships.
