Information about the position

As the Director of Product Design for the Frontend Technologies Domain, you will establish the foundation that enables high-quality experiences across all aspects of [REDACTED] user experience. Your mandate is to increase the quality of the global UI for tens of millions of members. You will share accountability over domain’s success with your Engineering & Data Science counterparts, building foundational technical capabilities to balance developer velocity with an exceptional end-user experience.

In this position, you’ll

• Increase frontend delivery efficiency & quality (AI-powered software development)
• Increase internal tool quality and delivery efficiency
• Ensure that our services comply with accessibility regulations
• Increase impactfulness and quality of [REDACTED] UI
• Maintain a high performing and engaged team, make timely, high-quality decisions concerning priority setting and resource allocation.

About you

• An exceptional level of craft leadership, holding a consistently high bar for end-to-end quality and autonomously setting the product's visual strategy
• Proven experience leading design infrastructure, design systems, and frontend technologies at scale
• Track record of leading organizational change, comfortably adapting team structures and processes to meet evolving business needs
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple teams or a domain, including coaching managers and senior individual contributors
• Are an excellent communicator, capable of articulating complex design and technical trade-offs to cross-functional stakeholders
• Bonus points for technical fluency and experience driving AI-enablement in frontend development and design process.
