One question about communication I get asked a lot is:
When to involve developers in the design process?
My answer is, early but not too early.
Sometimes the lead developer is involved right from the start,
and sometimes the developer team gets the design when it's ready.
If you involve developers early but you can also hear
that many, many things are impossible to code or will take ages,
I would create some screens and then

go to developers and just be flexible if they say that something is not possible
or will take a huge amount of time.
So I don't think it's really necessary
to involve developers from the beginning.
But there are some exceptions to that.
